A Warm Welcome From Caburn Cottages
Nestled within the South Downs National Park, at the foot of Mount Caburn, are a group of seven flint and brick self-contained South Downs holiday cottages on our working farm. Our cottages are well-equipped and range from one to three bedrooms.
We are close to the historic town of Lewes and within easy reach of Glyndebourne, Brighton and Eastbourne. Trains to London are frequent from Lewes station but we also have hourly trains from Glynde station going east to Eastbourne and Hastings and west to Lewes and Brighton where other connections can be made.
Our cottages provide an excellent base, whether you are visiting family or friends, exploring the local towns and villages or enjoying the stunning views on the South Downs.

Caburn Cottages are in a rural setting, very close to the South Downs. Historic Lewes is just 1.5 miles away, and the coast at Seaford is about 5 miles away. Brighton is 8 miles, and Eastbourne is 13 miles away.
We have been farming here for many years and there are plenty of walks and footpaths within easy reach of the cottages.

Within easy distance of our cottages can be found other famous places to visit such as Charleston (home of Vanessa Bell and the Bloomsbury group), Batemans (home of Rudyard Kipling), Pevensey Castle, Herstmonceux Observatory Science Centre and Michelham Priory.
